As usual this is yet another poor account of the "official" story of what happened between 22nd and 24th of November 1963 in Dallas Texas.
This version adds inaccuracies and leaves out important relevant details to enhance its objectives of condemning Oswald.
Some examples:
First and foremost the numerous references that Lee Harvey Oswald murdered both President Kennedy and Officer Tippet; the program condemns Oswald when he never stood trial for either offence.
In the film, Officer Jim Leavelle implies that President Kennedy chose the motorcade route so that more people could see him! In reality the responsibility of choosing the motorcade route fell primarily to two Secret Service agents: Special Agent Winston and G. Lawson. Winston and Lawson met with Dallas Chief of Police Jesse E. Curry, Assistant Chief Charles Batchelor, Deputy Chief N. T. Fisher, and several other command officers to discuss details of the motorcade and possible routes.
Mrs Helen Markham a witness to the Tippet murder, apparently "locks eyes with the killer" and we are told its a face she will never forget, and conveniently we are not informed of the fact that later she tells reporters that the killer was short, stocky and had slightly bushy hair! Later we see Markham identifying Lee Harvey Oswald in a police lineup, but the program fails to point out that this was after she had seen his photograph on television.
Some of the evidence suggested that if prints found on the boxes in the so called "sniper nest" were Oswald's then "they knew that they had got their man". Oswald worked there moving boxes daily so his prints were very likely to be all around the area.
The films taken at the time are historically of interest and for the most part the Dallas Police officers gave good accounts of what occurred.
I would recommend "Beyond JFK A Question of Conspiracy" (1992) for a more balanced interpretation of the events with interviews from some many witnesses not interviewed here.
