The UK release was cut, cuts required to remove potentially harmful acts in a sex work (in this case pressure exerted to neck and throat as well as nostrils pinched, both likely to inhibit oxygen and blood supply to the brain) in accordance with the Video Recordings Act 1984. Cuts were also required to remove abusive and humiliating acts in a sexual context (forced fellatio resulting in gagging) in accordance with BBFC Guidelines and Policy and one final cut made to remove the clear suggestion of non-consent (woman crying in reaction to unwanted anal penetration) also made in accordance with BBFC Guidelines and Policy, in order to obtain an R18 classification. An uncut classification was not available.
