I subscribed for this show just for the fantastically ridiculous premise, fully expecting that it would be pretty much (hot queer) garbage - especially considering the dumpster fire that was MILF Manor. Joyfully, "For the Love of DILFs" blew my expectations out of the water. Right from the first opening narration from "Dr. DILF", it's clear that everyone involved in this show knows exactly the kind of show they're making and, most importantly, is committed to it 110%. They "storylines" are uplifting but not too complicated, drama doesn't seem manufactured, and both seasons' casts have been quite committed to the process and clearly enjoy their time on the show.
The standout, however, is Stormy Daniels. Who acts as well as you'd expect. And that's PERFECT. It's clear all the contestants adore her, and how could they not? She's so earnest and committed, joyfully happy to be involved, and always ready to throw in a devious aside poking fun at her past. Stormy is a joy to have on screen from the start of each episode right to the final "Send Nudes."
I hope OutTV funds 10 seasons of this adorable little queer dating show.
