Perilous Days a great ride

This movie has many layers. The characters are memorable, especially the villain, Damon, played by Ricky Emerson. Emerson delivers a Tupac/Bishop (Juice) kind of performance. His character is cold, ruthless and most chilling, has nothing to lose. Dangelo Williams also gives an emotional effort as Tre, creating the perfect counter to the Damon character. Director Jonathan Ockletree submits a strong freshman effort with Perilous Days, one with style, soul and the perfect dramatic mix. The first half of the movie sets up the climax perfectly.

The movie begins with a botched robbery after which Tre and Damon take separate paths. Upon Tre's release from prison, those paths cross again.
