We are someone in the background history

Very touching short film.

Simple footage (not the editing, but the concept) and yet... we can now see Jill.

There are so many Jills out there.

Is she alive? How did they come up with this concept? If it were on youyube instead of MUBI's cult catalogue, would the comments be kind? I doubt it. I can imagine seeing something like "waste of time" because in terms of productivity; a capitalist, narrow-minded perspective, It is.

So I appreciate the minds that not only question these things but go further and make art out of it.

And now, years later, here I am, watching Jill, an extra, another uncredited person.

After all, we are all fragments in someone else's mind.
