Finding Home

Admittedly the film starts out slow as it introduces the two main characters (Katie and Wesley) and their relationship details. Throughout the early parts of the film there is a growing amount of tension because of a personal secret that Katie is keeping from Wesley. When she finally reveals the secret it is a big one! It is a completely unexpected and dramatic twist that had me shouting "Oh Snap!" From then on the two, now adversaries, must work together to find their way home, both literally and figuratively, while lost in the wilderness. Then comes Turner...a rather strange and suspicious character who offers to help the couple and lead them to safety. Katie and Wesley disagree whether or not they should trust Turner, but they are left with few options. What happens next was unbelievable! Like the first unexpected twist, I did not see this one coming. Great film. Great acting. I can't wait for the sequel.
