Picture Dave Franco looking at you telling all the sexy things he wants to do with you. The first image of this short film, a comic sketch from Funny or Die, already grabs you and you're already watching it. But next thing you know the object of desire isn't the viewer; Dave is telling those to Christopher Mintz-Plasse who later on replies with a similar, followed by another reply by Dave and it's a western duel, each other teasing each other, moving a step further until....That final moment!
What's the idea? Both "Superbad" stars play with each other by starting with the line "You're so hot" and finishing the sentence by telling what of exciting they wanna do with each other. Not an easy thing to do, specially when these two adorable guys keep "fighting" each other with powerful, hilarious (some infamous) lines at each other, yet they can't laugh, it's a battle. Not just for the laughs but also to let them both excited. The opening scene is already a web classic, mostly because it's taken out of context and used it just in the way I presented in the beginning of this review. Dave is talking to you and not with Chris, and that's just wow!
Not the kind of idea admired by large (and prejudicial) crowds but who cares? If you don't like that kind of humor, stay away from this. If curious, definitely go forward cause you won't regret it and you'll probably watch this more than just one time. Amazingly well written and greatly performed, a must-see, indeed. 10/10
