Probably not, but it's hard to imagine anyone being proud of such lousy work, as exhibited in these two Pure Taboo vignettes from directors Kay Brandt and David Lord. I expect crap from Lord, but it's quite sad to see the talented Brandt stooping so low.

Consistent here is incompetent acting by unappealing male actors, especially Mike Mancini who keeps looking down, probably to be reading his lines from some off-screen sheet of paper. In the title scene he plays a boss who sexually harasses secretary Bella Rolland. Ridiculous "plot hook" has his platinum blonde wife (Goldie Glock in a NonSex role), shown stealing money from extra Shawn Alff's wallet in a coffeehouse scene, supposedly convincing heroine Bella that since his wife is far from perfect then adultery with him is fine. Sex scene in the boss's office is staged on a ridiculously unconvincing set -director Lord mocking the concept of set decoration.

Brandt's scene titled "Can Never Make It Up to You" is thoroughly unconvincing soap opera, as overly earnest Gianna Dior is let down by the guy responsible for her parents getting killed in a car crash. This scene is idiotic from start to finish, just an excuse for popular star Dior to go gonzo for the umpteenth time, while wimpy co-star Will Pounder is in great need of remedial Stella Adler acting classes.
