This starts strong but loses its way. I'd give season one an eight and maybe a five to the second. The actors do a great job but the writing is all over the place in the second season.
The show starts as an ensemble cast show but by the second season has almost completely shifted focus to the least likeable character. To make things worse while the first season hinted at the viewer learning more of this characters background so that we could understand, relate to him, and make him more likeable, they went the other way and just made him worse in every scene he's in.
One of the main characters disappears without mention in the second season as if she never existed. The characters are put into new relationships and situations in the second season but every one of them is depressing and negative. It feels like the writers were trying to set the show up for a third season to resolve some of the problems the characters were facing but the show seems to have been cancelled before that could happen.
