Even a good actress like Pisier cannot make this film better than an empty shell. Completely flat and uninteresting. How can anybody ever attempt to give the impression it is anything like a Chabrol...? The characters are flat. The story is not flying and the only scene where anything is slightly interesting is the one also cited in another review with the boy maybe poisoned ? But nothing of the potentials is used and I really recommend NOBODY to even try to look at it.... And Hazanavicius (who later made The Artist as a director) is here a nice but shallow theater friend of the young lady NOT her grumpy director... Which just proves that the other reviewer has not even understood who is who but mysteriously says the film is great ??
