the young mariachi

Not impressive, familiar, based, at the first sight, on classic mariachi repertory.

But , beautiful, first for fair remind of childhood dreams, second for the two children, not less for the bitter end.

A film about a boy passioned, in full - high measure, by music. And his decision to dedicate his life to it.

About first love and a pen as gift from a beautiful girl. And about the flavors of encounter, after years, at her party, him being one of mariachi for show.

Touching ? No doubts but in a long veil of nostalgia manner. Because it is not exactly a story but a remind of nice memories of many from us and the director makes just an inspired job in this sense.
