Initially set for theatrical release in France on 4 March 2020, then delayed slightly a week to 11 March, it was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic, first to 23 September, then to 21 October. Due to cinemas closing again the next week, it was re-released when they reopened in May 2021. Theatrical releases in Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg were similarly affected.

Beautiful, a movie defining an era, essential

This movie with comedic undertone, explore a very important issue of our time, identity, and the influence of society and social media. Impeccably acted by Alexandra ( Alex) who, as a young men, fill empowered by his feminine side, the very essence of who he/she is. He does not want to change sex, he just feel liberated, himself, as a woman. A magnificent, and luminescent, Gorgeous women. He is judge by many if not most, but fortunately, is family is by his side. And with courage, he realize his dream: participating to the Miss France contest. It will be a choc for everyone, mainly herself. A superb casting, Magnificently acted, it is essential to confront outrage own prejudice, and pre conceived idea!
