I remember there was a time when the Internet was filled with animations like this, featuring CGI cartoon characters being involved in humorous situations. Some of them even become popular internet memes.

This short is a perfect example of that era: Fun, simple, and direct to the point. Shane Acker will later work in more ambitious works, like "9" (Both the original short and its feature length adaptation) exploring the more complex possibilities of CGI animation.
