Don't Believe The Lies-- This Show Is Hilarious!

I live in the United States, so I never had the opportunity to watch this show when it first aired. But let me assure you that all of the negative press and all of the on-line bashing is totally unwarranted. I think that some people who have reviewed this show are so used to seeing the same stereotypical images that permeate Western culture, they just couldn't except that some Black families are normal and not over the top when it comes to TV comedy. I promise you that you will enjoy this show. This show is the funniest thing to come around in decades. There is nothing like it on U.S. television, and it's a shame that I had to wait until 8 years after this show aired to experience the comedic genius of its cast and guest-stars. Find it on DVD if you can, and get ready to die laughing.
