I thought Cathy was more popular

This is a special based on the "Cathy" comic strip by Cathy Guisewite. Seeing as how I'm the first reviewer, I guess these cartoons never got popular. This one features Cathy going on vacation not with Irving, but Charlene. We get the gag of her trying on bathing suits. Some people from the "Peanuts" specials worked on this and it shows. I guess it's the black bead eyes.

At least Cathy's mom isn't as annoying as she is in the comic. Rob Paulsen probably states out as the voice of Irving. He sacrifices $500 and all his luggage just to be with Cathy! I honestly think he cares too much about her. Cathy became pretty easy to make fun of in modern times. I guess I would recommend it to fans. **
