entertainment for the dead...

Well, what can I say? I first saw this abomination at the Toronto International Film Festival. It was a good attempt at something original by deco dawson. I believe that if this piece had been produced ten years before, perhaps then I wouldn't be forced to think that this film was a mere shadow of genius Guy Maddin's work. The unnecessary pornographic shots of a woman's nude body, not to mention the extreme close up of the woman's genitals, left me puzzled and sickened. What I had been watching was neither art nor entertainment, but sheer madness. The plot of the film was utterly lost on me. Was there even a plot?... you tell me!
