Excellent rare gem

This amazing short film is obviously inspired by the last sequence of Lewis Milestone's ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT. A pacifist short film taking place during WW1 and the famous trench dog fights, between slaughterhouse battjefield, no man's lands, barbed wire, bombing, bayonet bloody fights. Not so many characters here and that makes it even more powerful. Depressing, gripping, but unforgettable. It's just a shame that this movie is not better known. No one has commented it yet. And it received prize at the 1972 Cannes Festival, in the short films category. The director Jean Chapot mostly worked for the TV industry.
