Comb Your Hair, You Filthy Animal!

In this example of the innumerable short subjects that Coronet issued over the decades, a pair of narrators gush over two teen-agers and how they take care of their appearances, their clothes, and scrub their nails every night.

I myself was a slovenly teen-ager, and although my clothes were fresh and clean at the start of the day, by the time I got home for dinner, they were a mess. Although these actors seem to be looks-obsessed, there isn't much doubt that people don't take as good care of themselves as they might. Still, these two youngsters seem a bit smug and self-satisfied in their behavior.
