I Am Desire

The big personality of Tiffany Mynx carries this nothing video, made by Gary Graver in his "Robert McCallum" persona. I'm always amused at his IMDb bio, that somehow manages to pretend he didn't make a living as a pornographer, only mentioning his Orson Welles and other "mainstream" career.

Tiff narrates and her farm-girl fake Southern accent disappears in many a scene. The tale of her sexual adventures and leaving home for the big city (Los Angeles) and success as romance novelist is beyond corny, and merely an excuse for often slapstick sex scenes. Overall, it reminded me of those beloved (by me) Bethel Buckalew country-fried softcore movies I used to watch at drive-ins in the 1970s, only Graver has added XXX content, including plenty of anal sex (some with, some without condoms).

Ron Jeremy is aboard as a satire of a famous chef with a TV cooking show, and his attempts at humor are pathetic. Other big names show up but nothing of interest happens. The earlier rural scenes appear to have been shot at the Dry Gulch Ranch, but the movie has almost no credits listed.

Full title "I Am Desire -The True Story of Julia Black" is listed twice, both times messed up: "The True of Julia Black" and then "The Ture Story Of Julia Black". Let's just say Gary/Robert didn't take any pride in his XXX day-job work.
