Reissued on Vol. 174 of Something Weird's Dragon Art Theatre series, VISUAL AID is a tiresome, padded porn movie that takes the tired wife swapping party format to new depths.

Chief gimmick here, besides an unhinged, pretentiously mobile vérité style camera, is to cleverly edit and re-order the footage of each sex scene to yield a fake "two money shots for one" effect, one shown early-on and the second ending the scene. This is tried out in the opening segment where Kieth Erickson as Tony services wife Jane, cuming on her belly in slo-mo, and then humps her again, yielding a second effusion that merely repeats the original. It fooled the slob/shill who writes notes for the video's back-of-the-box come-on, but not me.

The duo head for a swapping party, where the host couple John and Ellen get it on in the kitchen. Again, the fake two-for-one approach is employed, giving John credit for two ejaculations.

The party itself has the six participants watching a purportedly hour-long stag film, but only a few seconds of it are shown (to us). Instead we watch them watching -truly dull footage indeed.

Keith humps one of the other wives in the bathroom (he claims to be giving her the anal treatment, but it was poorly shot and looked like standard doggy-style-sex to me), with yet another two-for-one ejaculation payoff presented.

Film devolves at this point into a silly orgy, with folks wearing party hats, making noise with noisemakers, and generally horsing around, much of the action softcore due to lousy camera-work. Farrago ends when Keith breaks a balloon on his wife's privates.

All three women are attractive, especially Carmen Olivera as Keith's wife. The duo re-teamed in the horrible attempt at horror/porn COUNT EROTICA - VAMPIRE and VIRGIN AT 18. Batting 1.000, the SWV shill calls Carmen a "Eurasian" rather than a Latina.
