Sandy Carey is HELEN BEDD, but this fun 1-day Wonder is actually about her friends. Tongue-in-cheek approach to porn, plus casting of Walt Davis as her hubby, implies this might be one of Davis's directorial efforts, hiding behind the pseudonym "Garbis Torian".

After Davis leaves for work in the morning, wife Helen (Carey) is constantly barraged by visitors at her door, or phonecalls from her mom. A door-to-door lotion salesman applies cream sexily to Carey's breasts in an arousing scene, but Sandy oddly leaves the XXX action to others.

Film is memorable for spotlighting loops and early porn feature star Linda McDowell as Carey's pregnant girl friend Elaine. She has several explicit sex scenes, showing off a huge, late-pregnancy belly and frequently sucked nipples -quite unusual for a mainstream porn film (this sort of content was usually the province of fetish films & loops). McDowell is quite a turn-on.

Two underage looking girls also appear for a threesome, with incest implied as the guy in the trio is one's brother -doing a door-to-door sex survey. Similarly, the gas meter-reader also gets serviced, and hubby Davis returns at the end to presumably get an earful from Helen about the day's experiences.

The wall-to-wall sex scenes throughout are impressively staged, making HELEN BEDD a winner.
