Happy Ending

Once a niche, almost fetish category in Adult Entertainment, and relegated to mainly European imports, heterosexual anal sex is the theme of this severely dated video. Written by and starring the striking, exotic beauty Ariana, it is an artifact of its time. Relevancy comes with today's emphasis on Anal Sex, which has been leading the sales charts for porn videos in recent years, especially when combined with the IR factor of big black dicks/little white chicks. In the 21st Century anal penetration is just part of the standard toolkit of an aspiring XXX starlet, just as mainstream actors learn fencing and horseback riding which might come in handy if they snag the right roles.

Chief drawback here is that the storyline (this is not gonzo but structured like a movie) is completely infra dig - opening scene is our director Jim Enright (uncredited) shooting the breeze with Jonathan Morgan about the biz, and a current project. In a near-classic scene of jazz porn (hypnotic soundtrack music dominating), Ariana solo tries out the machine on her vagina and has orgasms that are convincing and arousing. Later she goes full-bore with anal, first with Luc doing the honors and later in shooting a different project in which she performs a 3-way with Jonathan Morgan and Luc Wylder. When director Bionca says "Cut, yes that was great!" our non-story about going anal is over, not a minute too soon.

Video does illustrate a common mistake in porn, often telegraphed by the standard practice of the players using their stage names as their character names. In a feature like this one, we are not watching a story with characters, but rather watching porn performers like a voyeur watching a prostitute couple, hump. The intended confusion of their real-life personae (was Ariana really hesitant about anal sex or was merely money the stumbling block?) and the same-name characters they play for the camera is not very interesting, especially when the successful, recognizable stars play this routine hundreds and hundreds (the men thousands) of times. Give me a real characterization by Veronica Hart, Richard Pacheco or Mike Horner anytime over this fake-reality documentation of sex acts.
