Didn't do it for me

A disappointing misfire with Tony Leung and cohorts in a story of religion and con artists trying to make it big. I felt like this could have been a Stephen Chow vehicle and worked quite well with a wackier style, but this plays out very seriously, almost like a character study, which makes it more than a little dull. It does have some funny lines and moments and appearances from reliable Hong Kong stars, but generally it didn't do it for me.
