A guilty pleasure for me for many years. One of the more amusing hack jobs from Ho and the Lai Bros. Not as wildly funny as "Raiders of Buddhist Kung Fu," this still offers enough yucks to please fans of bad Asian cinema. The fight in the restaurant is pretty silly, with all manner of schlock and hamming by the performers. The big hats are a delightful visual joke. The dubbed dialog is hilarious at times. The scene where the guy nearly gets killed when a robot falcon drops an egg on his face is mind-blowingly dumb. The kung fu is good, but oddly pointless, despite the fact that without it there would be no plot.

The original version had a sassy sex scene, but this has been long lost from available video copies. Pity.
