Absurd, funny, typically anarchic Mocky satire about a psychopathic moron (Serrault), who feels compulsed to strangle women, ever since a fly landed on the decolletée of his piano teacher when he was a boy. Michel Galabru plays an indebted salesman, who by chance learns the murderer's identity. Central setting of the film is a Greek restaurant, whose owner is a sleazy cut-throat. Deliciously weird characters, intriguing plot complications, and a twisted sense of humor make this one a winner from start to finish. Michel Simon, in his last film appearance, steals the film as a likable old-timer, who is also a notorious liar. One of Mocky's best pictures. (3 1/2 of 4 stars)
