This spaghetti deals with an elegant drifter called Ponson: George Hilton , he arrives in a little town and at the saloon he meets the poker gambler Lucas : George Eastman , and both of whom play cards in high bets . Meanwhile, Ponson agrees to transport a wagon shipping rare supplies , and along the way he is assaulted, getting to avoid them by killing the ambushers . Later on , Ponson plays the roulette game , winning a lot of money , but the henchmen's owner don't accept his winnings and fights emerge . Meanwhile , they meet a Saloon servant : Annabella Incontrera , who is really looking for her lost father . After that , Ponson decides voluntarily to pay a visit the strange land baron : Mimmo Palmara who has dark purports .
A decent but obscure Pasta western with intrigue , suspense , brawls , shootouts and surprising final twist . It deals with an unusual plot concerning money forgery , there are some interesting surprises , and a thrilling story , however , no too much action , exception for final confrontation at a mansion with plenty of guns , shots , fights and betrayals . A Buddy Movie Western , being well starred by a nice couple, giving chemical enough , George Hilton and George Eastman , both of whom perform a perfect and amusing pair who acted in several Spaghettis . As George Hilton along with Anthony Steffen , Gianni Garco were the best Pasta antiheroes , as Hilton performed such known Westerns as "Halleluja for Django" , "The Ruthless Four" , "The Desperadoes" , "Professionals for a massacre", "Sartana no perdona" , "Go Kill and come back" . And his likable colleague Geoge Eastman , this tall prolific actor interpreted and wrote in all kinds of genres , playing Spaghettis as "Django il Taciturno", "Boot Hill", "Ciakmull" , "Amigo stay away" , "Django prepares a coffin" , "The last killer" . They are well accompanied by other fine actors who also played Spaghettis as the gorgeous Annabella Incontrera as the damsel in distress , Mimmo Palmara as the nasty , corrupt owner and Jose Torres as a mysterious pursuer who goes after the tough protagonists .
The musician Coroliano Gori composes an agreeable Spaghetti soundtrack and well conducted , it is full of enjoyable sounds and emotive score with perdurable leitmotif . Colorful clnematography , nicely remastered , shot in Lacio , as usual and the regular house where have been filmed a number of westerns . The motion picture was decently directed by Giuseppe Vari who often uses pseudonym Joseph Warren . Vari was a good craftsman , a fine professional who made a lot of movies of diverse genres, such as Scifi : "Urban Warriors" . Warfare : "Revenge of the Bloody Beach" . Nunexploitation : "Sor Emmanuel" . Peplum and historical : "Revenge of the Barbarians" , "Rome versus Rome" , "Conquest of the Normands" and especially Pasta Western: "Un Buco in Fronte" , "Deguello" , "The Last gunfighter" , "Pray to kill and return alive" , "Death ride along" and "Poker with pistols" . Rating : 6/10 . Acceptable and passable film that will appeal to Spaghetti Western aficionados .
