There were a number of spectacular robberies on the motorway in the Cologne-Düsseldorf area in 1954. Together with the Hollywood screenwriter Robert THOEREN (he wrote the original for SOME LIKE IT HOT by Billy WILDER with FANFAREN DER LIEBE) and the cabaret artist Wolfgang NEUSS, director Geza von CZIFFRA wove these events into an action-packed film that is unusual for the West German film industry.
