O. E. HASSE (HITCHCOCK star from I CONFESS) plays a sensational reporter from EXPRESS who travels around the world a lot. It's stupid that he of all people is required to be a jury member in a murder trial. A young man (Hardy KRÜGER) had an affair with the wife of a famous scientist (Martin HELD) and is said to have murdered her. Something doesn't sit right with the reporter's sleuth, so he begins to investigate on his own...

GOLDEN GLOBE nominee Hardy KRÜGER (1928-2022), who received his nomination in 1966 for THE FLIGHT OF THE PHOENIX, would go on to play similar roles in the films CONFESS, DOCTOR CORDA! (1958) and BLIND DATE (1959). The recently deceased Maria SEBALDT (1930-2023) can be admired in a small role as fashion editor for EXPRESS.
