the hope

A film offering the premises of hope. And good start point to real kick to discover, again, the beauty of life, to see, with some trust, the future , and more optimistic the near one.

Sure, the situation is pure unrealistic. It is not an exception across French films with social subject but it works exactly for the reserves about status of slice of near reality of the friendship and mutual help of adult and boy.

It is well acted and perfect after a tough work day. And, i suppose, it is just enough. A man in a profound crisis at each level of his existence. A bunch of kids stealing his phone. A bizarre and real strange relation with one of young thieves. And something easy, maybe not so correct, defined as life lessons.

So, not exactly a bad film.
