Blindsided

Many of the great Skye Blue's dozens of recent projects have been bland in the extreme, especially her workmanlike stuff for Penthouse Video. Her frequent gig at Adam & Eve Pictures is usually aimed at dual use: XXX for porn fans but a suitable cut for soft porn addicts watching late-night Pay-Cable, and "Blindsided" caters way too much toward the latter audience.

Lovely Christiana Cinn is our heroine who is blindsided - her hubby Derrick Ferrari humps her in the opening scene but then announces he's leaving for another woman. Poor Grace (Cinn's character) is left high & dry; no education, no work experience and even no sexual experience, having married her long-time sweetheart from school.

The resulting soap operatics are attributed to screenwriter Melissa Monet, a favorite of mine hence even more disappointing. She peppers the film with okay characters but their travails and interactions remain trivial.

In fact, it turns out that Grace is leading a charmed life after all, as when she visits Carter Cruise for a job interview she gets hired even while admitting to a resume that would have you or I (or any real person) thrown out on their keister.

But it is keisters that matter here, after all. Cruise is infatuated with Grace's and introducing her to the joys of Sapphic love is Cruise's day job (in real life). The rest of the paper-thin characters manage to get in the minimum quotient of XXX content, with top honors going to busty Ashley Adams who plays Grace's friend Terry and gets to hump big-dicked Van Wylde.
