Director Jacob Chase used to make Haunted Houses for Halloween for many years which allowed him to practice making practical props and puppets. He hired the legendary Jim Henson's Creature Shop to create a 9 foot (2.74 meter) puppet for the creature for the film to be used alongside CG effects.

Not bad not great

I thought this movie was just alright, nothing really special about it. The movie felt a little repetitive and predictable at times. I didn't find it very scary either. The monster was cool but didn't really do anything. Mostly just creeped around the entire time. Generous 6 stars.
