Timewasters

I LOOOVVVEEE this show. It's well written and beautifully acted in a way that you don't see everyday here in the US where everything is either cookie cutter or trying too hard to be original. One thing I did notice was the close resemblance of the four characters to the lead characters of "what's happenin" The American sitcom from the 70s. They have a Raj, a Rerun, a Dwayne, and even a Dee. It's no copy though. The time travel angle and storylines are completely original. The show manages to handle race (and sexism) in yesteryear England with some honesty without sacrificing humor or becoming somber. It's absolutely worth a watch, but...no kids in the room and skip it if you're a Hallmark movie churchy type. Oh and don't listen to the grumblers. People like to forget that Black people existed before the Cosby show.
