The sets of the film are composed of reworked photographs of real Parisian places. Michel Ocelot has been tracking for 4 years during which he took pictures of the capital very early to have an almost empty city, which allowed to limit the number of items that needed to disappear later from the photo.

Delightful

This film's art work is beautiful: both the animation and also the Paris architecture. I found myself mesmerized by the beautiful scenes.

This film also has an interesting story that can be enjoyed by adults and children, but I especially recommend it for young girls, due to its message of empowerment.
