Landing Home (2019)

'Landing Home' shares the compelling story of a veteran trying to adjust to civilian life after leaving the military. It's a story that pulls back the curtain on war and the challenges many veterans and their families face when they come home. It deftly takes the audience into the mind of a combat soldier to help the viewer understand that returning home can represent only the beginning of a different kind of war.

The script and the story for 'Landing Home' were inspired by the award-nominated Off-Broadway play, 'The American Soldier,' which touches on many aspects of war and explores the sacrifices and challenges our veterans and their families face as they return home from combat. The play has performed throughout the nation and including notable spaces like the Kennedy Center (2016 & 2019), Off-Broadway, Library of Congress, and the American Legion's National Headquarters, to name a few. 'The American Soldier' was nominated for an Amnesty International Award and earned four out of five stars in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
