My Sister's a Slut

Phil Barry, a relatively unknown pornographer based in of all places, Bristol, England, faced a familiar dilemma when his wife and meal ticket Cathy retired 8 years ago. He has carried on with a sporadic and largely irrelevant stream of new releases, of which this stupidly titled effort is typical.

It consists of five vignettes which present different versions of the same dumb scenario. Current pornographers are stuck in merely a handful of ruts: some crank out endless repetitions of Big Black Dick impales Tiny White Chick; others play the jail-bait card over and over as 20-year-olds posing as 13-year-olds get deflowered all legal and proper (with the paperwork to prove it); some go for cuckold action - guys humiliated and only able to watch as their wives get banged by some stud, while the nonexistent "hotwifing" phenomenon is milked revolving around self- cuckolding or something to that effect. Still others recycle crypto-incest: step- moms banging their sons or more frequently (go figure) their daughters.

But poor Phil has concocted here a true non-starter: quickie vignettes in which the usual sibling rivalry explodes and bro has to suffer while his pretty sibling is humped by some dude. I find that too close to reality to be interesting -just as one naturally, even if one has a dirty mind (certainly I'm in the right forum here in IMDb's roped-off "Adult" section to bring that up), doesn't want to think about one's parents humping. So too, not wanting to witness, even just listening in an adjoining room, one's sister having sex is a normal reaction and not worthy of dramaturgy or here, pornoturgy.

Phil plows ahead nonetheless and has an underwhelming cast to boot. Only name on screen of note is Emma Butt, the unique personality -she of great height, constant spectacles on the face and ever growing boobs as plastic surgery obeys her every command - who graces many a porn project of the last decade.

What offends me the most is not merely the unconvincing nature of the situation building up to the usual "all-sex" content but Phil's insistence on repeating it verbatim as if he had hit upon some gold mine of quality storytelling. Once would be an insult, but five vignettes -it's time to get the hook.
