On the first day of shooting on location in Mildura, opportunistic thieves stole two rented, authentic western-style six-shooter revolvers. They broke into the crew's car while cast and crew were filming 'JOHN's' scenes by a billabong well into the bush and away from a deserted, dusty backroad where the car was parked. They made off with the two rare, expensive props undetected.
