I see this documentary as a rare example of a voice that managed to get through the wall the Israeli Oligarchs & their minions in the government put around themselves.
For many years Israeli market, media & the government is getting more and more concentrated in the hands of a few who control everything behind the scenes. This led to more and more of the politicians getting caught in corruption cases but it's not enough to reverse this foul tide. Unfortunately the majority of the public doesn't grasp the severity of the situation and keeps electing the same rotten representatives time after time (except a minor wake-up in 2011 which didn't lead to any major shift).
I have an enormous respect for all the people who made that movie because just by adding their name to it they face a threat to their jobs and reputation by attacks from various government agencies & the companies that are controlled by the oligarchs. That situation reminds me most of all Putin's Russia- there you might be found dead if you talk against his government and now in Israel if you talk against the oligarchs most likely you'll be barred from any official position and news channels with sever attacks on your reputation. This trend shows how Israel is moving to become a 3rd World country (The attacks by the big media companies followed right away on this documentary, including a really pathetic part by Erez Nehederet)).
I fear that this may be one of the last opportunities for the Israeli people to change and if not, well there's a saying "the people deserve their leaders". I truly hope that Israelis deserve better leaders.
