At one point, Shaggy says "Like, I once saw a show about a guy that saw gremlins on the outside of his plane." This is a reference to Nightmare at 20,000 Feet (1963) starring William Shatner who went on to play Captain James T. Kirk on Viaje a las estrellas (1966).

Shaggy's driver's license gives his name as Shaggy Rogers. However, Shaggy's legal name is Norville Rogers. His spacesuit similarly names him S. Rogers rather than N. Rogers.

Take Scooby Doo and Alien Isolation and put it in one movie.

This movie is definitely better then people give it credit for especially when you compare it to the last 5 movies since then.

Okay Scooby Doo in space is Jumping a Shark but the movie has such good production value in it. The special effects look awesome and I really can't believe how well thought out this movie ACTUALLY is.

When I watch I feel like people got inspiration from Alien (Not Alien Isolation because it came out AFTER this movie), Bioshock, Elon Musk when he declared that he was making Space X.

Honestly how did this movie predict the private millionaire space race.

The movie actually has a pretty great sense of humor and the writing is pretty good. I actually watched this movie 3 times that is more than I can say about 80% of Scooby Doo movies. It has to mean something other than bad taste.
