Assassinio sul Danubio

Deborah Wells, a familiar face from many Italian sex pictures, is a very desirable femme fatale in "La Chienne du Danube", a Dorcel release that suffers only from the hack direction of Max Bellochio, better known for his Private Media junkers.

One strong asset is some location photography in Hungary by the banks of the Danube river, but this melodrama is not very interesing. Wells plays the glamorous title character, used to pushing around younger man Francesco Malcom, who plays his role as a melancholy, pitiful young guy - a worm who finally turns at the sudden climax. The sex footage way outnumbers the dramatic content, making the surprise ending seem arbitrary.

The sexy lingerie of later Dorcel releases is here, but little else; for one thing, no condoms back in the '90s. Christoph Clark gets top billing, but his role is rather minor. Anal sex is stressed throughout. The oddest scene has Wells arguing with a workman and then taunting him when she finds him with a dirty magazine, only to suddenly service the guy sexually. It's hard to imagine a 21st century Dorcel release featuring some ugly schlub (with a small dick) like this in a sex scene.
