Kevin Burney is an American actor and writer who hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is of African-American descent. He earned his undergraduate degree from Temple University, majoring in entertainment law with a minor in theatre and his MBA from La Salle University.
From a young age, Kevin has always been passionate about the arts, as he always enjoyed making both family and friends laugh. After completing his college studies, he moved west to Los Angeles. Taking full advantage of being in the entertainment capital of the world, Kevin fully immersed himself into his training, and gradually started to book short films, national commercials, network television, as well as stage productions.
Kevin is a remarkable talent, he quickly caught the eye of a local talent manager and has hit the ground running. He's a truly creative spirit who enjoys acting, writing, comedy and improvisation.
His recent credits include CW's All American and FreeForm's Grownish. .
