His gimmick is of a goblin from the sewers of Bled Island in Slovenia, making him the one member of the Batiri who is not a demon. For the team's first few years, Kobald was the only one of the three who would talk during promos. Obariyon and Kodama only started talking following Deucalion destroying Kobald.
