SRIVASTAVA, an alumnus of India's prestigious Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, led the Direction team of the recent blockbuster OMG2, starring Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, and MAHARAJ with Yash Raj Films starring Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan. With over 15 years of experience, he has worked on numerous ads and 15 Bollywood films as a 1st/ Associate/ 2nd Unit Dir/ Assoc Producer with India's leading companies, including Yash Raj Films, Dharmatic, Endemol, Wakaoo Films, Cape of Good Films, etc. A fellow of Kyoto Filmmakers Lab, Hong Kong's HAF, Bucheon's FFS, Docskool in collaboration with Locarno FF, Malaysia's Freedom FF, and more, Srivastava's short films QAFAS, and, THE SEA have earned accolades in India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Cambodia, Spain, Switzerland, Australia, etc. His debut feature "A Life Lost and Found" participated in the Hong Kong Asia Film Financing Forum, and West Meets East Screenplay Lab of the 2024 Dhaka Film Festival, and is currently in an advanced stage of development. His latest short film "My Father Is Afraid of Water" premiered at the 46th Moscow International Film Festival, and it was nominated for various awards at the 29th Kolkata International Film Festival, the 16th Seoul International Senior Film Festival, the 10th Smita Patil International Film Festival, and the 18th Mumbai International Film Festival. It is currently in the running for the coveted German Star of India Award, the Director's Vision Award, and the Audience Choice Award at the 21st Indian Film Festival Stuttgart, Germany, and the 8th Busan Inter-City Film Festival, Korea. He also works as the Head of Logistic for the Cinevesture International Film Festival.
