Kya Garwood

Kya Garwood is an Actor born in Yorkshire, England. In 1994 she moved to London, and trained at the Anna Scher Theatre School and Kensington & Chelsea College for Performance Arts as well as ongoing short courses at RADA, and across the pond to Margie Haber in Los Angeles. She moved back home and became a dancer/model at the Show People Academy. In 1998 she won a local beauty pageant and became a finalist in Miss United Kingdom. Kya's love for the stage helped her gain work as a host/presenter and then back into performance for Stephen Daldry's West End production of An Inspector Calls and in Frederick Stroppel's production of Package Deal. Her earlier TV appearance includes: Dream Team and Footballers Wives, Dead Ringers and on Holby [BBC]. Her film feature debut came when she was chosen for a small role on Paddington 2, [StudioCanal] and The Marvels [Marvel/Disney] Kya has also completed her first lead role in a french film due hit the festival circuit in 2025.
