Alex Griffin is curating the Reel Puppetry Film Festival, which takes place in August as part of the Puppeteers of America's National Puppetry Festival at UCONN.
Puppetry and cinematography aren't that different in my eyes... they are both manipulation -of a puppet or a camera and framing - and choosing what the audience does or does not see, in order to attain a deeper connection with the audience. They, at their core, are both kinda magic.
