She tells stories about New York and Beirut. Born and raised in Lebanon, she relocated to New York on the anniversary of the Beirut Blast. Amid the personal and political challenges that followed, she was awarded a presidential scholarship from The New School.
While her initial passion lay in the world of theatre, she discovered immense joy being on set and have experience working across different sectors in the industry from concept to execution. When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted my previous production work at ITV. studios (The Voice & other shows) and the revolution unfolded in Lebanon, she realized she needed to refocus on my passions. Taking a bold risk, she left her life behind to embark on a career shift in a new city.
She has since produced a feature film called "Everything That Will Happen Has Already Happened" with award-winning filmmaker Vladan Nikolic. She also wrote, directed, edited, and produced short films with actors like Nicole Ansari-Cox (Succession, Law & Order) and Nada Abou Farhat (Under the Bombs, Stable Unstable). These projects allowed her to explore themes that truly resonate with her cross-cultural experiences; such as relationships, family dynamics, trauma, the passage of time, and what it really means to be a human.
She holds an MA in Media Studies from The New School, New York City & a BA in Film, Theatre & TV studies from Lebanese American University.
