Deepankar Kumar is an Indian Filmmaker and Actor .He resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Mr. Kumar started his acting career while performing at theatres. As an actor Mr. Kumar has featured in several TV shows including "Sanjeevini 2".He has Acted in "Perfect Match" a short film streaming on MX player, Humgama Play, Pocket films and Shorted.in. Besides playing a good role in the theaters and short films, he has also acted in many TV commercials including "Moj App" "Classic Rummy" "Billbook App" "Edelweiss Tokyo Life Insurance" "Winzo Games" "Himalaya Lip Balm"and "Junglee Rummy" In April 2021, he debuted as a Director with the short film "Kasturi ( Story Of Untouchable)" a short film based on social issues which is now streaming on Disney Hotstar, Kasturi has won several accolades at international film festivals including the Best Debut Director Male and three nominations at the FFTG Awards Film Fest 2021 (New York), Santiago Film Festival(Santiago), Mumbai Indie Film Festival(Mumbai), and Adbhooture Film Festival (Kolkata).
