Sami Swilks is a Sydney-based screenwriter and director currently undertaking her Masters of Screen (Screenwriting) at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS). She thrives when writing screenplays that are funny, subversive & thought-provoking and always works to find the heart & hope at the core of a story. She will graduate summer of 2022.
She is currently working to transition her award-winning short film/ proof of concept; Life After Love into a feature in early 2023.
