In October 1999 she returned in Georgia for few weeks and presented her
old films at the Cinema House in Tbilisi. During this retrospective she
met two young filmmakers from Merab Kokochashvili's faculty of art, they were
Lasha Dardagany and 'Salome Mtibelashvili'. Two directors shot the short documentary about her
called "Interview with Liana Eliava" (2000).
