In 1971, he starred with Jonathan Lippe in an unsold comedy-action pilot for ABC called "Thunderguys." The plot concerned two police officers who were skilled in using motorcycles, scuba gear and other equipment to facilitate their adventures.
To supplement his meagre college existence he was a cartoonist at the
college paper, Top O' the World. He did many outstanding political and
feature cartoons including a series on the life of Winston Churchill.
