SUMO: The Break-up Lesson

I saw it on the day of release in AVM Studios. I went to the preview with big expectations as the trailer of this movie rooted in a lot of excitement and expectations.I was not disappointed.

The first thing I liked was the perfect non-linear screenplay which was carved to perfection. The next thing which impressed me was the lead role. Ezhil Durai, The multi-talented guy, gave his very sound contribution in his departments (Music, Hero, Written & Direction). The next big plus of the film was Saravana Vel who captured hearts by his dialogue delivery. The Best thing in the movie which will appeal to everyone is the slang which they have used in the movie. There are some unofficial words used in a very correct way that everyone will accept it without a beep sound at that point. And the climax will give goosebumps to every film maker. Editing was perfect. It is a good lesson to all aspiring editors.

The cons of the movie according to me was the cinematography and some supporting artists selection. This script demanded a better presentation through celluloid and it would have done it a perfect film. I was very disappointed about the making. And some artists were in frame for the first time and we could figure it out easily.

Omitting these, it is good - must to watch movie for everyone who failed in their love. Forget about the making errors, just watch it for its screenplay - which is definitely one of the best written screenplays in Tamil short film industry so far.
